Functional Capacity Assessments
Sunrise Occupational Therapy provides Functional Capacity Assessments for NDIS participants ensuring that they have the right level of support and funding to achieve their goals.
We assess how the participant is currently living and carrying out daily tasks as well as assessing their environmental and equipment needs.
These reports include assessment on functional capacity and goal setting to undertake any of the following activities:

✔ Self-management
Therapy goals are then developed that involve either enhancing the person’s skills in the areas where they are showing deficits, or amending their environment (e.g. with assistive equipment or other resources) to mitigate their difficulties.

Assistive technology products, systems, devices and technologies assist NDIS participants to achieve greater independence, reduce support needs, increase participation and be more connected to the community.
